About the project

collaborative residency, 14 may – 12 july 2002

A collaborative residency with independent dance artist Cecilia Macfarlane. We worked with William Morris Primary and Drayton Secondary schools in Banbury, Oxfordshire, exploring birds, flight and their decorative plumage. The residency culminated in performances at the Cotswold Wildlife Park as part of ‘Wild Art’, Oxfordshire Schools’ Art show, 2 ­ 12 July 2002.

This was one of several collaborations with Cecilia Macfarlane. It was a privilege to work with her and she continues to influence my work.
