About the project

collaborative workshop series, september 2005 ­- february 2006

A collaborative series of workshops with two primary schools in Oxford. I worked with Karen King, an independent dance artist, in East Oxford Primary and with Marion Bloice-Smith, a drama specialist, in St. Andrew’s Church of England Primary. We explored dream stories from our imaginary (or real) dreams. The project culminated in performances on 1 and 2 February 2006 at the Pegasus Theatre, Oxford. This was part of a series of collaborative cross­-artform projects in schools that I worked on with Fusion Arts, Oxford, as part of their ‘Oxford Extra Arts’ programme between 2005 -­ 2007. It was funded through Arts Council England and was part of a government initiative to extend the school day to enrich children’s learning.
